Helen Cassidy qualified as a Nutritional Therapist in 2011 and provides one to one support to her clients, both online and in person, at Horan’s Healthstore in Dun Laoghaire.

She lectures on a number of nutrition related topics at the Institute of Nutrition and Health, as well as supervising student clinics. Her area of expertise includes female hormonal issues, digestive health, thyroid health and nutrition for children.

In addition, she delivers online and in person fermentation classes for those who would like to discover how to make their own probiotic rich foods.

Prior to qualifying as a Nutritional Therapist, Helen worked in various management positions with a large Irish financial institution, after completing a BA (Hons) in Marketing and Languages at DCU. As a result, she has a very good understanding of the challenges in trying to combine healthy eating and lifestyle within the confines of a pressurised job.
